No Combat uniforms this year

According to this site, LSU was not selected this year to wear Nike Combat uniforms. LINK

What is the point to these No Combat uniforms other than getting some people to buy more stuff? Or is that the point? Does Nike intend to switch anyone to these "better" uniforms full-time?

I'm more curious what they do with Bama. They might have a meltdown that anyone would F with the tradition of their uni's

Anybody that was born after 1980 loved those uniforms. All this tradition crap is alittle over hyped for me. But let the crayola yellow march on!
