Silver Slipper Buffet

The weekend seafood buffet was pretty good there. The only complaint was that the rock crab claws were over cooked and the meat was hard to get out. The dungeoness were good though

Wow, it was really, really good - and I never say that about a buffet. For $10.65 it was super legit. I must have put a 1/4 lb of blue cheese on my romaine salad and a big scoop of bacon. They had a smoked brisket with au jus and that the fella sliced me a nice thick portion. Black eyed peas with big chunks of ham and some rice. I put crushed peanuts all over my slice of chocolate cream pie. Damn, I'm a step slow now.

I can't eat buffets like everyone else with Chinese, fried shrimp, tamales, ribs...I have to eat it like a normal meal. The brisket was worth the 10 spot easy.

That is the full menu lunch price, I think Monday through Saturday (I stood right under that sign for a few minutes - embarrassed I can't remember). Mondays and Tuesday though they do a special which is either half price of that or $1, but it's tied to players cards.

I'm telling you though, the brisket they have is so damn good. I think sometimes it's prime rib too. I should have skipped desert and gone got another slice. Au Jus and bread and I'm doneski.

I hate the dude that does the radio commercials. He sounds like Jersey insurance salesman. And the song sucks.
