be consistently in the Top 10, my how the mighty have fallen, even with all that talent, the nations best CB, and 3 talented WR's that could match Julio Jones and AJ Green the media shows no love, wtf?

i grew up in the 80's. so, i'm still very satisfied.

the mighty haven't fallen. preseason polls aren't worth the paper they aren't printed on.

All the better to watch them eat their words as the season progresses. Should be fun to watch.

We were top 10 last year preseason. One year does not a "fall" make. And most teams have proven that without a quality QB, you won't be top 10.

this is only a recent trend (us being in the top 10). Your memory is too short.

Being satisfied will not beat Florida, Alabama, Texas and etc with the talent they are bringing in. We need a coach that can develop our talent and win with X's and O's.
Miles has to get better in those 2 areas if he wants to stick around Baton Rouge.

Why did you start this thread? Was the site getting too positive for you?
I mean, it's not like this exact thread hasn't been done over and over again.

I started this thread cause the media shows no frickin love or respect for a loaded, talented team!
Posted on 8/21/10 at 5:19 pm to tubucoco
our receivers may be the best in the nation but they won't look like it based on numbers because we don't have a QB that can get the ball to them consistantly.

ole Les says the O-Line should be just fine!
Posted on 8/21/10 at 5:21 pm to cubsgrace
now that probably will be true!

I agree with this. I assume the person that started this thread must not have been old enough to remember the 80's and especially the 90's.

My bad. The "oh how the mighty have fallen" just made it sound likeanother bash Miles thread.
Maybe I have just been reading this site too long.
