So nobody thinks the Texans are a top 5 receiving core? I think they are pretty legit and would probably put them # 5 on the list.

Andre Johnson is the best receiver in the league

Owen Daniels is a good TE

and who else? Jacoby Jones right?

If you took the Saints WRs (or any other) and put them on another team, would they make that said team better? I think this is the big question.

Say, Saints WRs in place of the Bear's WRs?
Saints WRs in place of the Niners, Seahawks, Dolphins?

Kevin Walters has been pretty good. I mean Schaub does not throw for a league leading 4,770 yards with bad or even average receivers.

Colts
Saints
Jets ( have awesome talent in Holmes, Crotchery, and Edwards they just need to prove it on Sundays and all depends on if Sanchez shows up.)
Cowboys
Bengals ( TO and Ocho are either going to be awesome together or fail miserably)
Steelers

cowboys shouldnt even be in the discussion until dez bryant does something in the NFL

there might be more talented receiving cores but I would take Saints over any elses

Arizona has to be in the discussion

St. Louis should be as well, just kidding, they have the worst, right there with the bears

Why the hell is everyone so pumped about the Bengals, Carson Palmer hasn't been an elite QB in 4+ years.

The Bengals have a decent corps on paper with Ochocinco, Owens, Bryant, Shipley, etc.

I think the Saints WRs are better than many are giving them credit for.
Colston is a damn good WR.
Meachem and Devery could stretch the field for any team.
Moore has excellent hands and is a Wes Welker clone without the YAC(which makes him a poor clone...)
Reggie Bush(he counts!) makes some outstanding catches look routine.
Shockey and Wendy's are good options as well.

steelers have a young talented core headed up by veteran Hines Ward. Just wait and see. They will also be fine without big ben for the first couple of games no matter who they start. And as far as Carson Palmer goes. Go look at his stats from last year not to mention he brought his team to the playoffs. He will only be better this year, assuming that TO doesn't frick that team up.

agree with this. The saints finally realized how to use Reggie, get him the ball in space and let him go. I predict Reggie has his best year yet by far this coming up season.

Colston and Moore would be good on other teams IMO. Shockey is decent. Henderson and Meachem would probably not be good players on other teams. Average receiving core with a great qb and a great system.

The five teams that I listed, are the teams that I believe are the five best.
I listed them alphabetically, as in by the first letter of the team's name, because I believe the Saints WR's are equivalent to the Colts, Bengals, Pats, Packers.
I can list them in reverse order if you like.

If you throw Moore out and put Meachem in, I'd sort of agree with that.

wow, the tardation is amping up and we're not half way through preseason. I spose the only O lineman that could be worth a shite outta here is Jahri. This is, prehaps more than any other, a team game. Yes, good schemes and systems are essential. You do have to have the components to make it work though. Jim Schwartz in Detroit is one of the most respected minds for defensive systems and schemes. Detroit was still last in total defense though- no matter how good the design was.

On that note, that's why I am expecting continued defensive improvement- more familiarity and refinement of the scheme/system + addition of some better components.
