I've heard through the grapevine that Miles wants him to show a little more humility. He's been getting a little cocky out there with the long runs from scrimmage and all.

Ford should stop reading all the TD posts about his weight room stats and vertical, oh and that he'll be the starter mid-season of course...please

BINGO! We have a winner.

Don't worry he will be out of the doghouse when he is a junior.

As much as i like ford, he didnt have a good scrimmage. Which is huge for the rbs to see which one is going to emerge. And guess what? He obviously didnt emerge ahead of murphy or ridley. I still think he will get alot of carries starting after mstate. I just feel like people are just going to be starting threads with a hidden agenda to bash the coach ayway they can until the end of the season. It is very sad.

Good call. More weight = bigger cloud of dust = happier coach

Keilands mythical fumbling problem

My guess is that Scarbrough (a.k.a. Les' mouthpiece) will soon impart that Ford just can't throw and must be moved to WR (RS) or that he is always fumbling (KW) or that __________ (insert SR with disappointing season here, i.e. Lafell, Tyson, Rahim, Herm, etc. etc. etc.) is just more experienced or he hasn't learned the routes (RR) or any myriad of reasons why a promising underclassmen cannot see the field.

Maybe Ford has too much proficiency at managing the game and/or play clocks to play in a Miles-led system that relies on numerous delay of game penalties, wasted time outs and late game cluster f$%^s to lull the other team into a sense of complacency.

Yes, with our offensive line who can't hold blocks, we definitely need a RB that will be slow to the hole.

No agenda here, just trying to find out what's going on. Michael is a good kid so I cannot imagine him butting heads with the coaches.

Bilj,

How did Ford look in the scrimmage. I saw the stats, I was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
