Assuming CJ, AP, MJD, RR, and AJ go Top 5. If Gore or someone else is picked 6th leaving me with a decision for these 2, who do you go with?

RBs do not get PPR; however, WRs do. I'm leaning Moss, but Turner's the last of the elite RBs. Best RB I'll get in a 2nd round, 10 team league is ?

Pick Turner...
Calvin, Reggie, Miles, DeSean, Roddy will all still be available for your second pick.

Pick Moss....
Ryan Grant, Cedric, Rashard, Shonn will be likely be the best available for your second pick.

I'll take the Prior everytime

Michael Turner will be top 5 Fantasy back this year IMO. I'd take turner in a heartbeat. Dropped a lot of weight, said he didn't know how to train to be a starter last year and now he does and its been reported multiple times he will be a factor in the passing game this year (Only has i think 12 career receptions so far) so that just adds to his value.

Bonus: he's in a contract year.

Tougher decision with WRs getting PPR but RBs not.

I almost always go RB in the 1st, but this makes it more difficult. I still might go Turner first. A guy like Roddy White will be available and will catch a lot of passes this year.

I am in the exact same boat as you. I pick 7th and the top 4 backs and Andre Johnson will be gone.

It comes down to what 6 does. I feel strongly aboot Gore, but am a little worried with Westbrook stealing CATCHES from him.

My choice is between Gore(if there), Brees, Jackson, Turner, or Moss.

I really don't know what I would do in this position.

Do you really want 2 Falcons with your 1st 2 picks? That's putting all your eggs in their offense, which isn't spectacular.

If I'm in that situation when my draft rolls around, I'm taking Moss in the 1st and another elite WR (Austin, Jennings, Fitz, etc.)in the 2nd. You can still get Addai, T Jones, Stewart, Forsett, Bush(es) in the 3rd-7th rounds. If you wait to get your 2nd WR in the 3rd round or later, it's a huge drop off in consistent production. That my $.02 anyway.

Wow terrible advice.

Pick 7: Turner
Pick 18: Miles Austin/Calvin Johnson
Pick 31: Colston (unless a homer picks him early, then somebody else will fall to you)

or.

Pick 7: Randy Moss
Pick 18: Deangelo Williams
Pick 31: Pierre Thomas (unless a homer picks him early, then somebody else will fall to you)

the point is you can't screw up your draft either way with the 1st pick either way. bad luck, shitty production, and the rest of your picks will determine it for you.

Really? It worked for me last year when I drafted Moss & Johnson in the 1st & 2nd. My RB's were McCoy, D Brown, Charles, & T Jones. I kicked everyone's arse. RB's get hurt often and their back ups usually do a pretty good job, where as you can't say the same for WR's when they get hurt. By mid season you can pick up one or two good back up RB's after the starters go down.

I would be shocked if he were there in this league with the scoring system.

Just did a mock at 7th pick 10 team.

Kolb, Palmer
Grant, Moreno, Foster, M. Bush
Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Smith(CAR), S. Moss, Mason
Celek, Cooley
Dallas
Hartley

Now I fully realize that Andre Johnson would not be there at 7, but I would have taken R. Moss instead. I actually like this team a lot.

dude that team is pretty bad for a 10 team league, your qbs and RBs are pretty damn weak

seems the 3 wide in a PPR is a decent strategy; however, if it makes you start reaching for RB's to full-fill the void causing you also to slip at other positions as well, then maybe not the best strategy.
