Mer Rouge (Little Missouri) and south Ouchita parish-Hwy 15 are historically the best areas in NELA. I hunt Little Missouri and have a blind in Oak Ridge. They are both about as good as you can get around here.

Venice is not nearly as good as it once was about 10-15 years ago but still descent. Grew up hunting those marshes and have killed many ducks, deer, geese, hogs, gators, etc.
