On Julio Jones in the Bama offense against PP
quote:

Twice, though, Peterson’s been on the losing side to Jones. In 2008, he had a career-high seven receptions for 128 yards and his 24-yard catch on the Tide’s first play of overtime set up the winning 1-yard touchdown at Baton Rouge.

Last November, Jones took a screen 73 yards for a touchdown, the longest play of his collegiate career, to key the 24-15 home victory. That too is a bit of a sore subject, but for the other guy.

“It’s almost a year ago,” Peterson said. “It’s in the back of my mind, we have to play Alabama again.”

Sure PP was on the losing team, but if you're gonna compare Julio to PP then that's a little misleading to leave out of few key factors.

ETA: Sorry no link earlier, I read this late last night as I was going to sleep and couldn't believe the lack of respect. Here's the link to the full article, BOL, you'll see I didn't leave anything out.

Like the fact that Peterson wasn't even on the field when julio broke the 63 yard screen pass?

also left out that Peterson had a game changing INT in front of Julio. It was just taken away.

Ummmmm, that play, PP was not even on the field.....thank you, you ignorant putz.

Oh, and how about the cheating whore-frick refs who LIED and denied his interception? Yes, butthole filthy toothless gumps, it WAS an interception...and the filthy whore-frick cheating refs know it as well.

Bottom line: I can't wait to see PP versus jones THIS year.

Well, it's Bama, expect LESS.

Their unhealthy obsession with all things LSU is weird. Bama fans here in the ATL are obnoxious and have selective memory as well. They were no where to be found when Bama was losing, now they have all come out of the woodwork, serious Bandwagoners.

Bama spews more propaganda than the 3rd reich, Russia, China, and the Taliban combined.

*yawn*

What do you expect?

It is meant for typical fan consumption and will be biased to make their guy look like Superman. Just like our press re PP.
