I was just reading Dandy Don and it looks like the Tennesee, West Virginia, Alabama and Ole Miss are all going to be CBS games and all day games.

It appears there won't be too many Saturday Nights in Tiger Stadium this fall.

West Virginia probably has an equal chance of ESPN or CBS. the rest are CBS locks.

I wonder if these times are official yet. The dandy one says CBS announced it yesterday, but they normally wait until two weeks before each game.

I just saw the same thing. That would really suck to have very few night games this year.

i doubt very seriously that this game will be shown on cbs especially when you have arkansas and alabama playing the same day. There's a couple of other less appealing sec matchups that day also. auburn/south carolina, uf/uk, & msu/uga.

I wonder if that is correct... Especially the LSU Tennessee game, there is no way they are passing up Bama and Florida although it could be part of a double header.... West virginia game has Alabama and Arkansas that same day and they would certainly pick that game. I can't find anywhere where cbs says they picked all those games. I think he is just wrongfully speculating.

Not to spite Dandy Don - but how does he have this info and The Advocate and TV stations don't?

The only thing posted by CBS is for Sept. 25 - Arkansas vs. Alabama OR LSU vs. West Virginia. Does that mean split coverage or undecided?

Here is CBS link. LINK

I thought the same thing...that CBS didn't announce until 2 weeks prior what game they would cover, then ESPN gets next pick, then the dreaded Jefferson Pilot or whatever for the morning game.
Likewise...UF vs 'Bama...no way they pass that unless it's in primetime, then yeah, afternoon for us.
Also, that 3:30 time will be Eastern, so kickoff will be 2:30.
Better stock up on sunscreen especially for the WV game.
Let's hope Dandy is wrong.

LSU will not be on CBS for all those games.
CBS will wait to make sure they have the most appealing matchups every week since they do have first choice.

Those are probably games that CBS has an interest in and are in a holding pattern until they decide and it trickles down to ESPN and other time slots.

Of course the irony to all this is that we are picked to finish 4th in the west yet CBS wants us on prime time.
