"Child porn possession" didn't detail how many pictures he had or how he got them.
That description alone could mean one picture or one thousand pictures and there are ways to end up with a few pictures of that kind of stuff by accident, mainly if you're grabbing stuff off of file-sharing services and can't see it before you open it.
Having lots of it and actively trading in it throws that excuse right out the window.

Both are horrible, but those are two VERY different levels in my mind. When someone gets "busted for kiddie porn" I don't automatically make the leap to "lending" toddlers or going into parenting chat rooms and asking someone to bring her young kids so you could have sex w/ them.
