Plantation Restaurants

I have eaten at Latil's Landing at Houmas House and had the wine pairing meal which was excellent. I would like to check out some more restaurants like it (hopefully where I can stay like a bed and breakfast, but that isn't necessary). The online reviews for these places are geared more towards the lodging than the food. If you have any input on these (or others) I would appreciate it.
Here are a few I have found:
Madewood in Napoleonville
Nottoway in Whitecastle:
Myrtles in St. Francisville:
Blythewood in Amite
Bittersweet Plantation in Donaldsonville
Michabelle's in Hammond
Annadele's in Covington
Dunleith (Natchez)
Monmouth (Natchez)
ETA: I'll edit in the comments for easy reference. Thanks for the input

Nottoway in Whitecastle:

It's been years since I've eaten at Nottaway, but it was just okay, way back when.

Went at the beginning of this year, and the food wasn't worth the drive.

Nottoway is garbage. Detailed review
quote:
Have to agree that the food at Nottoway is sub par. It's really a shame because the place is beautiful. I have only been once for a special event but the food was really a letdown
Myrtles in St. Francisville:

Me and the lady ate at the carriage house a few months back. it was pretty good and the price wasnt bad at all. of course we took the haunted tour also ETA. i recommend the fried eggplant sticks for an appetizer

I took the boyfriend to this for his birthday. The food tasted good, but honestly it wasn't anything different than you could get elsewhere. The menu was sadly unoriginal and lots was fried.

the food at the Myrtles is just ok. It's nothing spectacular that you couldn't find anywhere else.

I'm not a huge fan of the food at Annadelle's, but they are well set-up for and well equipped to handle rehearsal dinners.
Dunleith (Natchez)

A little further drive up North to Natchez and you can eat at the castle at Dunlieth which is very good
Monmouth (Natchez)

a great dinner as well as B&B

I haven't eaten at the Myrtles since it changed hands, but if you're going to St. Francisville, I would highly recommend staying at Butler-Greenwood rather than the Myrtles. The cottages are wonderful and it's just a mile or less down the road from the Myrtles. I've stayed in most of the cottages there.

The Myrtles was awesome when the olc chef (cant remember name, but he then went to the Bluffs and not sure where he is now) Have not been recently
Butler Greenwood is a good place to stay but no resturant (the breakfest is a crossiont that you heat up in your cottage)

Happy to know ahead of time that Nottoway isn't worth the trip...anything in particular about it that makes it such a bad spot?

The food. They are trying to be innovative, but it just plain sucks arse. Let me dig up a review I did.

It is nice out there. I really really wish it was good, but it was just a big letdown.

from what I heard Nottoway recently has a new owner and they also revamped their restaurant with a new look, new head chef, etc.

I may have to give Nottoway another chance, but I can't see driving all the way out there for shite food when Houma's House is much closer to me.

That was a few years ago. The place, with the new chef and absentee Australian owner, sucks.

For Nottoway to be worth the drive, the food and the service all have to be top notch. Unfortunately, it is neither. Why go there when you can to Houmas House and Latil's is arguably one of the best restaurants in the area?
