Jones will probably be out of his prime. The rest I like. I'm not sure where Donovan and Dempsey will be at that point. Stu Holden and Jose Torres will be factors.

Good point, forgot about them.

And I'm sure we have some 17-19 year olds now that nobody's heard of that will contribute in four years.

I've continually said I know nothing about the sport. With that being said, it seems to me we had plenty of chances to score and win, but didn't finish while the other team really capitalized on their chances. Do we have anyone coming up with the skills needed to put the ball in the goal at those positions?

It's really early to tell at this time. Hell, there could be a 14 year old somewhere that breaks out and is a stud. I do know we have alot of young guys coming up and with the small taste of success we had in this cup, they will be hungry to improve on that in Brazil. One thing is for sure, we need a new coach. Edu and Feilhaber shouldn't have come off the bench, we wasted two subs we could have used later in the game.

Well, one of our would-be starting strikers (Charlie Davies) got injured in a car accident a few months ago and couldn't play in the World Cup. He should be a key contriubter in Brazil. Also, Jozy's only 20. Hopefully, by the time he's 24, he'll really be in his prime, and will have improved even more.

Torres will be starting by this time, I see very little way around that.

So Torres in for Edu?

I think so. He was good enough this time, but had little experience playing with Bradley and the starters. He'll have enough by then, that he'll be the starter.

Edu, Feilhaber, and Holden coming off the bench would be scary.

This team, if we add Klinsman and avoid injuries could really go far, depending on the draw. Of course, in the World Cup, anything can happen.

With a new coach Adu will get a fresh look. I still think he should have been on this team, and I expect him to be playing major minutes by the time we get to Brazil.
