what's the point of having checks and balances if they can't do what they want?

We (the gulf coast) are the ones living and dying by these decisions. Why do we seem to be the only ones not having a voice in this discussion?

Out of curiousity does anyone know if this new one would go before the same judge?

Considering the action is in response to his decision, I believe he can exercise jurisdiction over the new directive.

I don't think they can just change the wording, but i guess it worked like this in Chicago.

I think it would go before the 5th Circuit in New Orleans. What is the Village Idiot thinking by trying to issue the same moratorium that was ruled illegal?

Would not you file for reconsideration and supply your new facts except for the original filing has the lies of the experts agreeing with the moratorium.

I think what he is saying is that industry experts were asked to review the technical aspects of the moretoreum. Then it was made to look like they were endorsing the moretoreum. Now the administration is saying that they never ment for it to look like the industry experts were endorsing the moretoreum after they get called on the deception.

Was the first one a presidential order or an order from the Dept. of the Interior?

According to the NAE, the Feds mislead the people saying that the NAE supports The moratorium.

I understand that the Judge called out the misleading statement in the Feds filing.
