Seems like he should have learned the NFL is a business lesson when he got cut to make room for Peppers.

BOOM!

You could also say, "It's called running a business, Alex. Now shut up and play football."

Lesson learned for Alex: In the NFL if you're not good enough, you're cut.

But hey, Alex, don't worry, I tried out for the Raiders last year and didn't even make the practice squad.

What a bunch of retards. Guy's human and was looking forward to playing with a former teammate. I'm sure he's feeling some pain. Cut the dude some slack already.

Conflict of interest?

But seriously, I know they were looking forward to playing together and they're friends and all that, but this isn't a social club. It's the NFL. It's the World Champion New Orleans Saints. If Brown want to be a champion he better start thinking like one.

I agree

But the Saints were pretty shady with how they did it. Mccray obviously was shocked and had no clue they were even considering cutting him.

And they wait until mini camps and OTAs are over to cut him when they couldve done it way earlier to give the guy a chance to get into camp with another team.

Brown needs STFU and play football, he is with a new organization, you don't wanna get off on the wrong foot or he'll be joining his boy.

Idk, I'm wondering if there's more to this. Read yesterday where someone (I think Detillier) reported MacCray was late for 2 SB team meetings, had missed some other mettings, and got yanked in the SB for blowing assignments. Then there's the whole recent brush with the law. As far as AB, I'm excited he's here and look forward to seeing him in B&G.

Yeah I'm hoping AB gets over this and does well here.

I agree it seems like there must've been bad blood built up between McCray and Peyton.

Agreed with kc, something is up here. If the team were that adamant about cutting him, they would've done it sooner. Something else that we don't know about must've happened, whether that was another brush-in with the law, or doing something else to piss off the staff. I don't think we're getting the whole truth here.

Yeah thats from Payton's book.

He says five players were late for the bus on media day, Tracy Porter, Roman Harper, Usama Young, Bobby McCray, Jermon Bushrod.

I don't know why we are talking about this cause by the time preseason is over McCray will be back on the team for less pay.

Tracy Porter was way out in butt frick Egypt and had to be police escorted to the stadium and still held the team picture up for over an hour.
