Arky aint goin anywhere.
I thought the article about Notre Dame and Arkansas to the Big12 was laughable.
If anything, they should be worrying about keeping the 10 they've got, much less adding teams. No one worth a damn (Arkansas included) is going to that sham of a conference.

Not really... I'm sure there are a lot of people in Arkansas that would be freaking out at the slightest possibility that Arky might go to the Big Whatever. I think it's good that he eased their suffering.

DocBugbear is right. I stated earlier in a thread I live in Little Rock and I have not heard any Hog fans say they would want out of the SEC. They are just putting a stop to the rumors before they get out of control. All the rumors are coming from the state of Texas. Only thing negative said and it was nothing really that bad was Frank Broyles mentioned in the newspaper that Arkansas was in the best conference but never really has developed a rivalry like they had against Texas. Not sure why they think Texas was a rival being that UT won 75% of their games they played against the Hogs. I can relate though, LSU has no rival in a way. Ole Miss is no longer a national power year in year out, but since the football teams are so good in the SEC, LSU fans just hate on all the SEC teams that are in our way to a NC shot. Bama, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Hogs, Georgia, Vols, who needs a main rival anyway, I hate all of those teams so it's not hard to get up for a SEC game week after week.

agree....there is zero chance of arkansas leaving the SEC....but how many arkansas fans thought that it could be a possibility....
