House Alarm system. Land line (no voip) is required for it to be connected to emergency. I've had a home damaged by fire...I'm not taking any chances.

I got my yearly alarm renewal statement in the mail today, and they had an insert about something that connects your alarm using a digital cellular communicator. $79 to install and $13.95 per month for the cellular air time. Anybody familiar with this and does it work?

13.95 a month sounds fricking ridiculous. I think the land line itself is cheaper than that.

In that its more reasonable. Still sounds ridiculous to charge 13.95/month for a connection. I would be kind of weary about a wireless connection.

About $150 for Cable/DVR/no movie channels, everything else/Internet
About another $150 for 2 cell phones and unlimited data.

But that is a drop in the bucket to the $550 for Health Insurance, plus home insurance, liability insurance, car insurance, life insurance, and whatever other insurance I am paying for. I own a small business. I can't wait until ObamaHealth starts so my Health insurance goes to $800/month.
