Thanks for the Memories SEC fans!

Well, what can I say. I am heart broken, mad as hell, and confused all at the same time.
Baisically we had our shot and we shite ourselves. plain and simple. I was REALLy looking forward to join the BEST conference in the land, and making A&M into a power. There was no denying the benifits for both sides, and now all we can say is, what if.
I hope we have not permanently damaged our ties with the SEC brass because in 5-10 years when this shitty excuse of a rag tag group of teams and Texas falls apart, we will hopefully have an invitation again.
Its not like we deserve one though, after having slive in town for two days, and then pussying out of the deal.
Mostly I just wanted to say that I will miss you guys. I have enjoyed posting over here and getting to live in the SEC world for a few days. I cant say how often I will frequent the board anymore, because the pain is still to fresh.
I have a renewed respect for tiger fans, and SEC fans in general, and one day, hoepfully, if we ever get a second chance at this, we can join your great conference.
So so long, and I hope yall have a great season.

Enjoyed having you here. We as SEC fans feel a loss to with not getting A&M. As an LSU fan I was getting excited about playing you'll again. It just doesnt feel like football season with out playing the Aggies. Oh well. TX will stir the shite again in a few years maybe then. In the mean time I hope A&M beats the crap out of UT every year.

I have never seen the entire SEC want to add any team as bad as we wanted to add A&M the last few days. It is a travesty and pisses me off how it all ended.

Seriously though, Texas fans are not happy with this either, albeit "less unhappy" than the sooners and aggies tonight. I really think this is a placeholder conference with a decent TV contract.... then sh*t hits the fan in the BCS and conferences as a whole in 3 years or so. SEC effectively spoiled the Big 10/Pac 10 party, with it's perfumed inner thigh and lifted skirt to aTm. Buying them more time before we get 3 super-conferences. Who knows where everyone will land but I'll betcha the dysfunctional UT-aTm brotherhood stays together.

I'm ashamed for having liked Texas in years past. This whole debacle has brought to light their evil shenanigans. No team in the SEC would ever stand for that kind of crap, wish A&M could have been one of them. Y'all really showed some sack wanting to play East of the Mississippi. Sure did gain some new fans/respect down here in the southeast.

I hope you guys do because the Ags fanbase wanted it badly and it is not the fault of the fans.
That said, it will NOT be as easy the next time around. You guys still need 9/12 votes. FSU and other teams the SEC asked never got a second chance. I honestly hope A&M does, but I am realistic and am pretty sure it will not be as easy if it comes back around for A&M.

Man I wish things would have worked out.
Hopefully some miracle will happen and the tv deal will fall through.
I have never seen the alumni as mad as they are tonight for the decision the administration has made. We wanted badly to join the big boys and were cut off at the knees.
