ESPN just said the new TV deal being cooked up for the Big 12-2 will pay Texas and Texas A&M between $20-25 million/year and all of the other schools $14-17 million/year.....
.......but A&M hates unequal TV revenue distribution so they wouldn't even think about taking this deal, right?

UT looks like the sleazy fricks in this game and the whole country (INCLUDING THE GREAT STATE OF TEJAS) sees it.
aTm should leverage the frick out of the 12-2 and force UT to make its own way sans a Patsy.

Would love to know where all of this $ is coming from all of a sudden. You lose teams, but the conference is now worth more? Why wasn't this deal done before?

I'm sure they have a solid financial model to come up with those kind of numbers when in the previous Big 12 WITH Nebraska, they couldn't make anywhere near that much money.

A&M needs to turn it down and say all teams get the same share. This would put it back on TX.

Where is this money coming from? I don't by that a ten team Big 12 can land a tv contract that big. And even if so, OU is gonna be pissed.

UT does have a huge set of balls they way they treat other teams. I never understood why people hate them so much. Now I have a better understanding.

what network in the right friggn mind would offer that up to a Big12-2? What a boring schedule of games up every week. TU versus Baylor, aTm versus Kansas State (last years was entertaining though) Outside of the RRR and aTm/TU, who gives a flip? meh...maybe when tech plays you guys IN the wastelands of lubbock.
