Sounded a bit crazy to me as well, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense w/ trying to obtain new markets etc.

11. All SEC schools would have a bye week at the same time to coincide with fall mid-terms. This would directly counter the message by other schools not in the SEC regarding academics and athletics. This would also neatly divide the season into a first half and second half, allow all schools a level playing field by taking the bye week all at the same time.

ummmmm........no

I'm sure that wouldn't have any effect on TV ratings or anything, and the networks would have no problem with this

If by MUST read you mean, people in Aggieland shouldn't come up with a list of stupid shite they want an entire conference to abide by because their alma mater has better than average academics, then yes.

Further, the A&M-LSU game should alternate each year (only) between Houston Reliant Stadium and the New Orleans Superdome.

How 'bout no. Counter-offer: Game alternates between TS and the Superdome.

5. The Battle for the Bayou Border game with LSU should return to its traditional place of Texas A&M’s first game of the year, making it the top national game of the weekend to kick off the season. Further, the A&M-LSU game should alternate each year (only) between Houston Reliant Stadium and the New Orleans Superdome.

frick that noise.

I want a road trip. Reliant is a top-notch facility, but it's a typically sterile, modern pro stadium. The only possible advantage I see to this is if they let the stadium's full-service bars operate, which might add to the number of arguments in the stands that progress into all out fistfights.

Not every school starts at the same time thus midterms ate at all different times. Maybe this is a MUST delete

I was reading until he wrote "New Orleans Superdome."

Seriously? Just do a little research to get the stadium name right.

If you would see where aTm puts the visitor's section in Kyle Field, you would want to play that game in Tiger Stadium and Reliant. I don't know how many tickets aTm gives to visitors, but whatever the number, they are all in 2 sections at the open end of the "horseshoe" on the same side as the pressbox...it is over 100 degrees in college station in september....everyone is crammed together in one section and there is like one portal to get to consessions under the sideline.....it is NOT pleasant. I don't blame aTm fans, but their AD really needs to do something....oh...and they run out of water....

with that said, welcome to the SEC, Aggies!

Your point? (not that we have a horseshoe anymore...guest team sits on east side with Aggie students)

That's our homefield advantage (all year). Not scared of a little heat are ya?

That would change if they became SEC members..the SEC has a rule regarding visitor tickets and seating arrangements....

why do you think that the visitors in TS have prime seats....
