Yes, to tap into the Tidewater and DC markets. VT and Texas would create the strongest TV league around.

Did any of you go to Blacksburg? That was an awesome trip (at least for me).
My brother is a Hokie. A mere 18 hour drive from Baton Rouge! Did it to see VT beat Miami and charge the field. Blacksburg as an awesome college town as well. Access to big TV markets, natural rivals with Tennessee and Kentucky, great fanbase, "new money" program is a bit of a concern post-Beamer but they've been winning for over a decade and have a succession plan in place, and a wonderful place to visit. Make it happen!

As a Virginia grad - I love UVA and VT games. VT would be a great edition and they would deliver the DC market. Also, UVA could become a great football school with a great coach and some good recruiting. VT plays SEC level football but has never found a good fit in a conference.

Blacksburg and Charlottesville are two of the great places in America to have visit for a weekend.

They would both be a great edition - bring them together.

Please Please Please let this happen (even though it is a huge longshot at best).

Sorry, but UVA ain't going nowhere. Their identity is too ingrained with the ACC (and the tobacco road crew). UT, ATM, OK, and VT would be awesome.

I agree - I don't think its going to happen, but this is probably the only time in my life where I can hope that it could happen.

So could UAB or Georgia Southern.

In all seriousness, the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area produces great recruits but they go out of state or to VT. Some good recruiting really could turn UVA around, unlike UAB or Georgia Southern.

Damn, man, you must be going the long route. It is about 14 for me. I am also a Hokie.

Would you be willing to change your colors? Navy blue and burnt orange are already taken. Other than that, I would gladly welcome both Virginia schools.
