You do know both Texas and Oklahoma are below the mason-dixon line?

And West of the Mississippi, which is fine if were aiming to change the conference name to simply the Southern Conference

Rick Perry on the Austin news just said he is staying as absolutely far away from this situation as possible.

Here is the quote: "Most people in the political world, with much sense, will stay as far away from this as possible."

The fact that people continue to take anything Jeff Ketchum and chip brown off orange bloods.com as gospel just make me chuckle. Those guys have been dead wrong on so many reports for the past 10 years I cant even count them all. They probably have about a 50% hit rate on these so called "rumors". Half the time the just spew crap out of their mouth that they think will get people to sit up and say "wow thats really interesting"......when in reality they are just literally pulling stuff out of their arse.

There is no "infight raging" and some massive conspiracy between the administrations. They met privately today and from the sound of things, the meetings went very smoothly and both schools are on the same page. There was a SEC administrator who video conferenced in and made a brief presentation to both schools and it went well. Both schools showed interest and will probably meet again some time next week to weight the PAC10 vs SEC options.

but akry gave us wal-mart, jerry jones, the duggar family, and an equal number of members on each side of the fence so they get a pass from me so long as bobby petrino stays the hell away from Atlanta

Mike Slive is pulling out all stops to attract both Texas and Texas A&M to the SEC, including possibly moving two teams from the SEC West to the SEC East to allow Texas and Texas A&M in the SEC West

Why do people keep suggesting this? It makes no sense to have 6 teams in the West and 8 in the East.

I go to school at KU and happen to be an LSU fan. Was born in Baton Rouge, lived there for 21 years.

Need any additional information?

LSU just gets in on that one, and Arkansas is straight outta luck.

Not much, LAT. Just teaching these Kansans how to drink. Booze laws in this state suck. Thankfully I'm 15 minutes from the state line, and I can get beer any day till 1:30 AM in Missouri.
