What are the chances that congress sticks their noses into this. I'd say it's looking pretty good.

Yeah, the current regime doesn't have a football czar yet.

As of right now, what are they getting left out of besides conferences? Now, if there becomes 4 16 team super conferences that branch out and exclude everybody else from playoffs/national championships, you will here an uproar from Congress.

a liberal congress will be all over the have nots getting even more screwed over. That being said, the only thing they can do is take away the athletic depts tax exemption. Not sure if they want to open that can of worms.

Considering there are many real issues going on right now that they'd like to distract the public from, I'd say very good.

Obama will issue a moratorium on conference realignment.

Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas has already said as much if the Big 12 implodes and the two Kansas schools are left homeless.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sen. Orrin Hatch jumps in with him because Utah doesn't get an auto-bid as the Mountain West champ.

The BCS ripping the Big 12's bid as of the 2012 season and giving it to the Mountain West, provided they take Kansas and K-State, would get rid of that problem.

As long as the NCAA continues to not award a National Championship, there isn't a whole lot that the collective assclowns in D.C. can do.

He's already in control. Didn't you get the memo?
