I think JaCoby Jones is probably gone as well.

What about Lee? Second round will not be enough to get him to go pro?

Interestingly enough that site has Chad Jones and Mitch Mormann going in the 9th rd

Didn't one of our signees that got drafted later(5th round I think?) get offered a ton of money and decided to go pro last year?

Von Rosenberg, think he got drafted in about the 7th round

I didn't know all the players names we signed that is why I said 3.
2nd round would be hard to pass up so this doesn't look good for 2011 season.

I'm guessing we are getting hammered by the draft considering we signed so many.

Having 6 recruits go in the 2 round would pretty much end all conversation with those guys coming to LSU.
As far as next year, Mainieri knows that most will not make it to campus, so he has plenty of backup plans in place.

Well that is good to hear. I hope you know this and are not just hoping this!

KLSU, see the recruiting thread on this from Adam. He has the most knowledge on here about this.

DEFINITELY knows more aboot this than anyone on this site.
What I said was just me thinking and is my opinion. But why else would you sign 19 players, with only 6 definite spots open? Mainieri realizes that there will be some big time recruits that won't make it to campus. He also realizes that if some do, he will probably have to ask some players to leave. It happens all of the time.
Looking at that mock draft, having Ross and Mormann drafted that high would also not be a good thing. Especially with the lack of quality pitching depth that LSU has.

I think we can live without Mormann

Moorman is probably being encouraged to leave if he gets drafted.
Ross would be good to have back.
With Ross and Alsup back and Ott, that would be a pretty good start to the SEC staff
