For the posters asking what our leaders are doing to help with the spill.

Some sanity finally. They can study safety and drill at the same time. Law of averages says this won't happen again over the next year or actually 50 years.

I think Jindal is doing the best job he can. He is a hell of gov. and everyone to the right of you on the map is extremely jealous. I would vote for him for POTUS.

I like him, but he did a shitty job on the national stage in response to the state of the union address. I think he needs one more term as governer before running. 2016. He is young.

Where was Jindal in the first weeks of this disaster?
He only appeared when the oil started hitting Louisiana. I don't see anything special in Jindal except his inability at giving critical speeches.

Hopefully this will loosen things up, though I'm sure obama is looking for bigger things before lifting the moratorium. Bribe votes for his cap and tax BS.

Has Bobby said anything about the moratorium and what impacts it will have to Louisiana tax revenue/royalties?

If Obama continues to issue statements like this..Louisiana's going to end up like Michigan and California.

Do you live in Louisiana? If you do and still think he's a helluva governor then you're crazy. He's a hypocritical politician just like the rest of them. People are on Obama for his handling of the oil spill yet continue to praise BJ and I have no idea why. The first few weeks after the spill he was no where to be found either just like O-dog.

Admittedly not my best effort, but when dealing with a liberal POS I did not feel like spending the time. Still smarter than what you wrote.

Anything to support these opinions?

I agree, but I also think that was "coached" by the GOP. It was shitty as hell and he needs to forget those fools and just do his thing.

What has he done to be considered a "helluva governor"?

He's been hypocritical from the very beginning with all his ethics reform bullshite. Not to mention he promised a translucent government and he's been everything but.

The first time we saw BJ after the spill was on April 29 when he declared the state of emergency. That was almost 2 weeks after the spill.

Any more questions?

Think you've got your terms confused. He's at least "translucent."
