Blood diamonds can also be a good value. I enjoy trading in dead baby pelican beaks and manatee hide in my spare time. (When I'm not scalping football tickets)

You keep your morals, I'll take the money.

Not investing in a stock for personal reasons is retarded. I would invest in a company that was for the termination of all white males in their 20's, with a college education, living in my house and posting under the name thehiddenflask, if I thought it was a good buy.

Implied point was the efficiency of capital markets will never allow a protest on equity ownership of a company to have an effect.

I might have faile. To convey it.

You need to find a conscience Flask. I will never eat at McDonald's again because of the emotional trauma they put those cows through. They say you can actually hear them scream right before they are slaughtered. I can't enjoy a Big Mac ever again knowing that.

Turrabul analogy. Buying blood diamonds rewards the exploiters of the slave laborers. Here, buying at the low price takes advantage of BP.

Even knowing this doesn't take away from the tastiness of the BigMac.

And to keep on topic, FWIW, I agree with flask. I've been keeping my eye on BP stock. And I'm about to the point where I'm gonna dump some money into it. Even if they aren't ever allowed to drill the GOM again, they will continue to make money, and the stocks will pick up again. And I'll sleep very well making money off of them.

BP is spending more time on how to protect their assets to avoid losing everything then the Oil Spill. Watch for some Financial Shenanigans by BP as this situation worsens. The guys with the money always win.
