everything i've said should have a disclaimer that the NCAA does some crazy shite with teams in these regionals.. they could still see LSU as a 3 seed somewhere..

Maybe it'll be a showdown for it between us and the Tide.

gave Michigan a host site as a #2 seed

And it was wrong then...but the NCAA - give it to them - wanted to expand the sport at a large state university and perhaps revive Big 10 Baseball.

Here's my best guess, based on geography, attendance, and likely #1 seeds:
UCLA
CSF
ASU (need at least 3 on the West Coast)
Texas
TCU (at least 2 central)
L'ville
UVA
Vandy (3 "northern")
Auby
GT
Clemson
SC
CC (3 in SC, but they all deserve it)
FSU
FL
Miami (3 in FL, ditto)

Last four out:
Arkansas (slumping)
Alabama (already 4 SEC)
OU (dinky park, more alums in DFW anyway)
Arizona (4th west coast site)

thats a good list.. but i think OU would get one over a 5th ACC team (Clemson or Miami/FSU)..

Yeah, that's a tough call, but the ACC was sick this year. I think they deserve 5 hosts.
Look at these conference records:
UVA 23-7
GT 21-9
Mia 20-10
FSU 18-12
Clem 18-12

They likely are the conference to get 5 and not us.

They're usually a great regular season conference

No way. In years past, there have been rumblings that perhaps the ACC or Big XII were better than the SEC. Not this year. For the first time in a while, the SEC is very clearly the best conference, with absolutely no competition for that distinction from anyone else.

No way Clemson gets in as a 5th host team and the SEC only gets 4. No freaking way. Not this year.
