Marshall

Findley

Johnson

Bedoya

Rogers (Numbers game. If Buddle doesn't go, he does.)

Pearce (or Bornstein... flip a coin, but I think Bornstein's "experience" at CB will carry him through)

Kljestan

We won't take more than four forwards which opens up several options for midfielders.

Gomez
Buddle
Jozy
Ching

I don't care if he makes the final roster. I'll be happy as long as he doesn't play. Just pray to St. Pele that Spector, Dolo, and Bocanegra can stay healthy.

This list doesn't make me feel like U.S. soccer has progressed very much. I thought both Gomez and Buddle did well enough tonight, but there's a reason they play where they do.

OK so I know the final score but didnt see the game; what were the positives USMT can take away from this match?

Buddle didn't shite the bed.
This game probably gave a lot of motivation for our starters not to get red-carded.

Gooch was not reassuring.

We lost 4-2 to a non-WC side and both of our goals were on set pieces.

It wasn't terrible, but you could certainly tell the main guys were not playing. I'd like to know the possession numbers, but it couldn't have looked good for us.

Edu played at CB. We can score on set pieces. Gooch is slow and Stu is not fit.

holy frick...seriously what happened? I've watched a lot of Czech Football and they are a tough side, they are fast, counter attack like mofos defend well and remind me of Germany/dutch when they are on their game....

You're wrong. Maybe in this match but generally as a rule they have a possession type game and view it a bad form to dive. I've watched them since the world cup in Italy and haven't seen it.

I thought Stu did well. He isn't 90 minutes fit, but he's fit. He probably won't even play a full 90 in South Africa anyway. He didn't start slowing down until the 75th minute. Not to mention he was compensating for Kljestan's shitty play by chasing down defenders and moving more central.
