Condon talking about it right now........claims players are tired of getting berated.

They are players for a University. They are NOT playing for themselves and the players that are "giving up" will not be here next year. As simple as that...

Bertman berated players all the time and he was pretty ruthless. In the end though it worked most of the time.
Maineri probably does it as well but at least he has a pulse.

You're not getting this info from a first hand source so most of it is NOT true.
To answer your question, no the players did not have a bad attitude to start the season. LSU won the ******** national championship last year. common TJG

Well you can believe me or not it wont bother me but from what Ive heard Mainieri behind closed doors can be kind of a douche to the players-which with some groups of players that works some it does the opposite-last year it worked 
it seems like with this group its not working. Every coach has their own style and every player responds better to a certain style it seems like this years group aint responding to one of the coaches whether its Mainieri Grewe Sanchez or simply player leadership I dont know but something aint working.

maybe he needs to lay off all of the community service he has them doing. Maybe it is too much for these guys to balance. Not a flame, but it can get tasking at times. Whatever happens, gotta support these guys and the coach. Just a really strange season. Bottom line, when you make your living on the actions of 18-22 year olds, you assume risk EVERY damn day!

I know for a fact the core players who we see in the lineup everyday have NOT given up and will not until the season is over.
