Got brunch reservations at atlantico...I missed my chance at the minibar though...they take day to day reservations for six seats and they sell out the morning of...only $120...I was expecting way, way more.

damn! i went there in late 2006 or early 2007. same price, so that's cool. at that point they took reservations a month in advance. i called daily at the moment they opened for 4 days and got in finally. it's really fun. Was fun to see the chef's joking around and then when Jose Andres showed up they got a little more serious
ETA: there is a big newish restaurant that Andres opened in L.A.. Never been but seen a lot of articles. A LOT of overlap from minibar and jaleo from what i can see.
