re: Washington D.C. Suggestions?

I forgot CityZen in the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Chef is Eric Ziebold, former sous at The French Laundry. There's an interesting blog post out there somewhere written by a former line cook st the FL. She tells the story of one service where Ziebold gets so put out with the kitchens performance that he orders everyone to stop. He the proceeds to cook every station in the kitchen at the same time while admonishing the staff for dragging arse. It would be an impressive feat at Dennys, it's bordering on heroic to pull that off at FL. It's probably worth a tripbro Citizen. A buddy of mine lives in DC and he's also a wino/foodie. It's his favorite place.
