I tried Kamados last weekend, and it was probably the worst sushi I've ever had.

Ichibans is the best I've ever had in Baton Rouge.

I have gone 3 times and been impressed each time. Good atmosphere as well and reasonably priced IMO

Guess no one here has eaten at waka house. It's easily the best.

1. Waka House
2. Ichiban
3. Sushi Yama

I would agree with these two... I'm never eated Sushi Yama, though.

Waka House on Sherwood is amazing. (I've yet to try the one on Highland.)

Have you tried Rock-n-Sushi? I think you would appreciate what they do.

I'm partial to Ichiban...consistent, good, and not expensive. Their Japanese roll is off the hook. Tsunami is good, but you're paying for the atmosphere and reputation. Wahada is cheap but meh. Hello Sushi is not bad, but I can get the same or better for cheaper at Ichiban.

I agree with those two too. Sushi Yama is nothing special IMO. The sushi rolls were not rolled tight and were falling apart. Everything we got there was mediocre at best.

I'm partial to WAKA House, but I also like Koto and Ichiban.

My favorite's been Ichiban for a long time now, but I've heard from people I trust that Rock N Sake was great.
