I think it goes green bay, new orleans, buffalo(even though the team isn't in buffalo)

Denver is the smallest city with all four major sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL). I know it isn't what you asked, but just interesting to me. 13 cities have all 4

new orleans is a bigger city than buffalo & orlando. once the 2010 census comes out it will be close if not bigger than STL.

Edited: Nevermind, Green Bay is TINY. No wonder they're so loyal. They know if they didn't sell out every game they would lose the franchise.

Yup, but there's a huge difference in population between NOLA and Green Bay.

NOLA seems WAAAAAAAY bigger than Raleigh to me.

population wise... not size wise...

Went to Raleigh last year and the Greater NOLA area seems much bigger to me. Also surprised to see San Antonio so low. I thought they were top 10 for population in the US?

Green Bay is a special case -- you have to except them in discussions like this.
What is the non-GB answer?

STL is small if you're going by the city limits.lol. A lot of people fled to the suburbs. Now the STL metro is almost 3,000,000(2.8 mil). STL City limit is around 354,000.

i would guess memphis, OKC and sacramento are among the smaller cities with pro teams. i didn't look anything up, they just seem smaller to me.

Metro population is more important, though. All of those are bigger than New Orleans.
