I ran for Central back in my day. The word Champion is not one I would use to describe by career. Ever.

If that guy is a freshman, he is going to be ridiculous in years to come.

He'll have his pick of colleges.

Not the kind of time I expected to see from the state champ at the highest classification. When I ran, a 10.66 wouldn't get you out of the district meet, and I ran in the Catholic League.

And exactly which make believe league did you run in? I want to see this district where a 10.66 isn't an impressive time

Me too. Is the poster that posted that it wasn't an impressive time, happen to be non-white? And yes, it makes a difference.

5 Mark Lawson Terrebonne 10.95 1.0
6 Jonas Tyson West Monroe 10.97 1.0
7 Princeton White Higgins 11.07 1.0
8 Jordan Bergeron Assumption 11.09 1.0
-- Greg Washington Capt Shreve DNF 1.0

1 Justin Walker Northshore 10.67 2.1 10
2 Adam Hebert St. Amant 10.75 2.1 8
3 Tyler Alexander Carencro 10.77 2.1 6

7 Sean Ruth Bro Martin 11.12 2.1
8 Princeton White Higgins 11.19 2.1

So in the last 3 years, that 10.66 time would be good enough to win 2 state championships and finish runner-up the other time

Early 1990s Catholic League with Carlos Jones, Desmond Johnson, Joe Sincere, and Jason Hirstius, among others. A 10.66 wouldn't have placed. I know from first hand experience. Oh, and at regionals, we had the top three out of those guys, plus Warrick Dunn and Kevin Franklin from Catholic.
