Just reported on CNBC. Order input error caused the drop.

The shysters will come out of their holes now. CNBC just said all signs point to the P & G input error coming out of Citibank's trading desk.

Waxman probably has Pandit's number on speed dial.....

I would imagine.

This could ruin Citibank, can it not?

I think as long as they didn't stand to make a profit from this, they will be okay. Small slap on the wrist, million dollar fine.

THF, I don't know if you were watching CNBC when the shite hit the fan.

They were showing live video from Greece of some street demonstrations and then the bottom fell out of the market. Maria "Blinky" Bartaromo actually said, "The market is obviously reacting to seeing the scenes we are showing you here on CNBC!"

She was practically giddy thinking they are so important that the U.S. stock market would drop 700 points in 15 minutes just because of CNBC!

Of course, the market came back up 600 points during the next 20 minutes while they continued to show the Greek demonstrations. Maria didn't comment on that......

If he doesn't do it himself, he better hope his name doesn't get out or someone will do it for him

Based on his hand-to-eye coordination he demonstrated today at work, he'll probably miss both times.....

Very real possibility.

If I were him, I would be getting on an international flight tonight.

Priceless. I wasn't watching, I was studying until I got an email about the melee and then I was trading options like a motherfricker.
