"Body Language"

Pam and Jim work on their first sales pitch together to Donna (Amy Pietz), the manager of a local restaurant. But Michael keeps misreading the signals she's putting out. Dwight encourages Kelly to try out for the minority training program.

The Office has gotten so uncomfortable that I can barely watch it anymore. I find myself fast forwarding thru at least half of the episodes.

I absolutely love this show. I hope it never ends but I can see how it's bound to dry up sooner or later...

Not as bad as Prison Mike, though.

If Michael is in the scene then I usually have to fast forward. It just sucks bc some of the other characters are among my favorites on TV (Dwight and the Nard Dog)

Is this the woman that Michael met at the Dave and Busters type place?

no idea why you would fast forward.

Can't take the uncomfortableness. I just don't find uncomfortable situations funny

I have a friend at work and her bf doesn't watch The Office for this reason. He finds Michael to be painfully uncomfortable.

He is a smart man. There are some awkward moments with the other castmates but they are usually bearable. I would not be upset if Michael or Jim left. Dwight is the star of the show.

I'm guessing you're not a fan of the original Office or Curb Your Enthusiasm then.

I just don't understand how someone can watch the Office if they don't like the uncomfortable nature of the scenes. It's pretty much what the show is based on. My roommate is like this. He hates Michael but he keeps watching the show. There's nothing wrong with not liking Michael, but the show is pretty much centered around him. It would be like hating Jerry Seinfeld but still watching the show.

I love Curb. Larry is different from Michael in the sense that he is NOT a complete moron which is the cause of the uncomfortableness of The Office.

Larry says what all of us are thinking in most situations but we have that mental filter that tells us it is NOT worth making an issue about it.

It is just specific to MIchael mainly bc his uncomfortableness is the result of his moronic nature. There are uncomfortable parts of the show I can watch bc they are REAL situations. The majority of what Michael does is complete ridiculousness...
