Williams and Parsons were definitely medical reasons. Not sure about Taylor.

So what were the medical reasons, then? Why can't we get any specific info? Please share if you have some.

WR depth Whaayt....?? We'll have T.Toliver,RS, Chris Tolliver, Kadrone Boone, Reuben Randle. Could have the best recieving core in the country if the QB situation ould ever get worked out.

A guy not even on campus yet and a guy with 0 career catches are your arguments against WR depth... touche'

Parsons had a shoulder issue all last year and was held out of the spring game for the same reason. Was supposed to have it repaired after the spring game. Have not heard if an attempt was made. He is a good kid.

Experienced depth is a big issue
I disagree. How many college teams are going to have their top 3 WR's with playing experience, 2 of which started in 3 WR sets the year before. Also, the guy likely to be used as the #4 will be in his third season. Sure, injuries can decimate our WR depth if we have some misfortune but that can happen no matter how much depth you have.

Shep, Randle, TT, and Chris T were going to be the ones getting most of the PT.....Now if there are injuries then losing Williams and Taylor will come into play.

aside from Toliver, LSU's WR corps has a combined 16 career catches. Any injuries and you're relying on kids that were in HS last year

tell that to julio jones and deandre brown or even RR
how many of those does LSU have backing the top 3 guys up? Rueben, for as great as his future is, had 11 catches last year

I don't know the reason for Taylor, but I have heard that Parsons has had shoulder injuries and that JW has had severe concussion issues. If the kid can get an education and not turn into M. Ali, that is fine with me.

I suspect Toliver will be #4 and if injuries happen and a freshman can't step in, Clairborne is listed as a WR/CB. We are talking about our 6th option being a true freshman at a position where freshman have made plays in the past. I just don't see us having depth issues there. Also, we do have like 5 freshman WR's coming in so I would hope one of them can work into the top 5 and get on the field.

Hate to see them leave but it happens every year. I always had high hopes for John Williams.

i was jus makin a point that experience can be a non factor at times..if u can ball u can ball..i kno its a lil off topic but john calipari has said many times that he'd take skill over experience any day

if you think our situation is bad, look at Florida.

Their leading receiver going into the fall has a whopping 24 career catches.

you can toss that WR listing out the window. Kid is starting opposite Peterson.
