they can afford a good attorney

Cause maybe they didn't do anything wrong. Athletes are easy targets. Athletes do get charged when it is found they committed a wrong.

because they are always innocent and all of their crimes are a result of people looking to cash in off of their wealth.

This is a whole other issue that's been discussed a million times, so I won't touch it.
I've said plenty of times what I thought about that situation.

If you or I chose not to cooperate in a sexual assault investigation (as Ben did), then we're fricked (no pun intended).
Go back and listen to what the DA said in the press conference. He pretty much stated that a travesty occurred because Ben has money.

They arguing yesterday on NFL Live, the big D Lineman what's his name? Marcellus and the former NE LB about how they seem to always treat the white athlete differently from the black athlete, and wants to see how Goodell is gonna handle the suspension.

I don't think it's a matter of money. If the prosecutor thought he could bag a big time NFL quarterback (who's not from Georgia), he sure would take a shot. It would be good for his career.
But, with no DNA and the girl being drunk (she's an unreliable witness), there was little chance of a conviction -- that is, proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
