Beau and his parent will have to make a decision whether or not he want to play major league or minor league college football.

Last I checked, he was the only WR that PP couldn't cover before the injury.

The Browns definitely could go to better schools than Kansas State.

they did initially

if a kid has an offer from lsu and chooses la tech he has to either be a borderline retard or a horrible decision maker

So if anyone would choose Tech over LSU, that makes him retarded? Maybe he just doesn't like big schools

No, as he said the kid would just be making a bad decision. If he wants to excel at football and play at an elite level, it would be a terrible decision to play at Tech over LSU.

Beau Fittte does have an offer from LSU.

He and his brother are close, and his former teammate Seth Ancar signed with Tech in this past signing class. His mother and grandmother also are very comfortable with the Tech coaches and Ruston.

Is LSU more "elite" than Tech, yes. You don't have to play in the BC$ to get to the NFL that is a well known fact. He also could end up with 5 or 6 SEC offers before everything is said and done. Is it a done deal he's coming to Tech, hardly. Tech just has the leg up, right now.

Tech might have a better coaching staff - especially on offense... Pretty sad...

I always notice when they introduce guys before the superbowl there are usually several from schools smaller than Tech - the NFL doesn't care where you play just if you can play

Do you think Marques Colston would have lasted all the way to the 7th round if he had taken the Mizzou offer instead of going to Hofstra? Going to a bigger school means that the NFL has the ability to rate your skills against better competition. It leads to being drafted higher and more initial money.

You also have some guys that might have shot but don't get to break into the depth chart soon enough to get the reps and exposure they need...

I know that with elite players it would better to go the BCS route but that can back for some other kids.
