They did win 24 in a row.

B-b-but it was against the Ruptured Ducks and insignificants of the Softball Scene.

Gaudy stats vs Ruptured Ducks

&

0'fer against ranked teams, that's right, 0-7!!

The Northeastern pitcher was a great "country school pitcher," but in the SEC, she is really not that great.

Girouard is a USL Cajun and until they run her off, she'll keep raking it in at LSU's expense.

Title IX is a reality! Get a f'ing HC who can handle the top teams. We are paying a king's ransom for mediocrity and we have top notch facilities. Don't think we are not really talented, WE ARE, we just have a limited HC. She shot her goodies at USL. She's played out and just cannot compete vs. Alabama/Florida/Tennessee/etc. Besides having the game pass her by, I really do not think she has the required motivation.

Get a coach and get a return on the millions spent on that insignificant sport. For that matter, do the same with all sports. You have to have them? Get somebody who can win, do like Brodhead used to do. Realize that the marketing of successful minor sports, is marketing you CANNOT BUY OR GET OTHERWISE! DAMMIT

False. She wasn't run off at "USL". She ran to the puple GREEN and gold.

Say what you want about Broadhead but the man did an amazing job at LSU at bringing in the talent and our teams did well in nearly all areas. He did this with an athletic program that wasn't all that focused when he came in. He and his wife went to every sporting even that they could possibly make, often splitting up to attend events scheduled at the same time and developed relationships with coaches and players alike. This was genuine on their part as I had the pleasure of getting to know them over the years that I was at LSU. I am worried that we're falling off the pace in some of the "minor" sports. It's time for Van Chancellor to go as the lady's basketball program is in dramatic decline. I know that LSU had a record year last year with getting so many teams into post season play but we still fall well behind Florida in that regard. It's time to really step it up and take it to the next level.
