I remember Soriano about 5 years ago. That dude was a scary hitter. He looks like absolute shite at the plate.

and thats why the call was huge. Cubs never had any momentum after that. Jeff couldn't throw a strike..and even when he did it was called a ball.

late getting into this thread but he is my wifes favorite. just because the way they announce his name at turner field.

Credit to braves hitter though..they've proven as major leaguers they can hit a ball right down the middle. Not sure SOriano can.
And the one problem every Cubs fan knew...Defense looks terrible.
Theriot and Fontenot may be the worst middle infield in the league....hell..it's even rubbed off on D-Lee

Rocks, it's gonna be hard to choose a fave. It could be McCann, Heyward or Yunel. But I've become a huge Yunel fan the past couple of years.

i like yunel and mccann as well. still cannot believe yunels play a few years ago when he stole 2nd after a walk b/c everyone was daydreaming

Hell, Hinske and any combo of McLouth/Diaz/Cabrera/Heyward, Infante, and Conrad is a very stout bench.
