I haven't seen it yet, but from the reviews I've been reading; you summed it up.

Haha. It was disappointing to say the least. Really nothing engaging, entertaining or new about the story or characters. I like Sam Worthington but his lack of zeal or "pizzaz" (if you will) as a lead actor makes the movie quite boring to sit through. Actually, he was much better in Avatar so I blame the writers and directors more so than him for his lack of appeal in Titans. There isn't much dialogue, or wit, or imagination involved. It's basically a mix of CGI and action, with little soul.

Overall, it was meh, like I said.

Original better than the remake? Surprising.

Meh is a excellent way of describing it. The 3d promotions in the previews had more 3d than the movie did.

So it's basically Michael Bay vs. The Sea Monster?

Too bad Shia Labeef didn't get the lead.

Did you see it in 2D or 3D?

Sounds to me like the story lines are quite different...

Sir Lawrence Olivier was a "good Zeus" and LN seems quite corrupt.

Poseidon was the keeper of the Kracken in the original and Hades in the new one.

Anything else? And they can have all the fancy shite they want...no way will it match the original.

I vaguely remember Athena giving Perseus some of his gear. She was not in the movie.

Really didn't like it. Saw it in 3d and it wasn't originally made for 3d, watched it without the glasses because it was way too dark and you couldn't see much.

What are the benefits of 3D with this movie? That scorpion scene looked intense, as did the Kracken and Medusa.

Yeah, I'm going to go see this in spite of the bad reviews because it was my favorite movie as a kid. I've seen the original more times than any other movie. I lost count after 36 times. I'm going to see it in 2D. I keep hearing it's worthless in 3D.

It really lulls you to sleep, it takes about 45 mins before anything happens. I will say that the Medusa scene was pretty good tho.

Medusa scene was good. But I wasnt really wowed by anything in this movie. Its worth seeing, but I was disappointed. But damn the Robin Hood preview with Russell Crowe got me fired up for next month!

It really bothers me that people are going to see this knowing it's awful. It's going to end up being the number 1 movie this weekend and Hollywood will think "great, lets just keep pumping out bullshite. The ignorant masses are eating this shite up."
