When there is a woman head coach like for a women's basketball team (like at Baylor) and there are male assistant coaches, do the men have any self respect for themselves?

I saw the sportscenter highlights of one of the recent baylor games and the male assistants were holding back the female head coach from the refs. How do these guys sit on the sidelines with a straight face and have any dignity? Does it not bother them that they probably know more about basketball than her or that it's women's basketball?

I love the sport of basketball, and I just don't understand how any male could have that position.

So having a penis means that he knows more about hoops? Really?

I would think that these guys take those jobs because that's what's available to get your foot in the door to be a head coach one day.

Damn, I thought the number of people who thought this way was a fairly small number. This is at least 2 in 3 weeks.

As part of a Division I women's basketball program, this sir, is by far the dumbest thing I've ever read. It's a JOB and we're grateful to have such a thing when there are so many people who don't have one. I'm just a lowly graduate assistant but our assistants (both male and female) make around $100k a year. Not too bad in my opinion to coach basketball.

Considering one of those male assistants at Baylor is Leon fricking Barmore, I'm pretty sure he can do whatever he wants and feel secure in himself.

Because women's basketball hardly even compares to real basketball, its more of a hobby.

men asst. coaching womens basketball is wrong

Never said it was wrong. I was just curious if assistant male coaches in women's college basketball have any dignity.

To me it's the same thing as being the host of TRL. Sure you are making good money and are somewhat famous, but you are doing something you can't respect yourself for.

It's 8th grade by the way not 5th. CSAL is 6th - 8th grade. There is no csal for 5th grade. It's only cyo.

Please expound on this society you are referring to and how people like me contribute to it.

How many of my posts have you read? It appears you aren't too familiar with my post history and sense of humor.

What problems in society are caused by people like me?
