Something I found odd. If you go to their athletic website and click "links" at the top, they have a link to the Times Picayune, but I swear that I've never seen any reporting of USL sports in the T/P. Maybe it's wishful thinking.

Would have been a good mid-week game for TV, but I don't see it listed.

We just need to go out and smash their faces in the dirt.

We need to go out and get pitchers who didn't see much action over the weekend some work along with some backup players. Maybe Didier or Dozar at 3rd base.

If we win, great.

I never knew how important this game was to them until I went last year. Its kind of pathetic but whatever gets them from week to week

One of my favorite games of the year. This will be my first game at The Box this season.

This comes up every year, same crap.... Its ULL's world series. Its not people, they do the same thing every other team in the country does, through a guy who doesn't have a ton of experience to get them some innings and play some guys who need to get some at bats. Now, the fans are a different story, I agree. But the LSU/ULL coaches don't give a rats arse

They just lost 2 of 3 to South Alabama, so they are already hurting. Last one was in 13 innings, so their pitching should not be in the best of shape.

Haven't heard if Mainieri announced it yet. I would think Bradshaw or maybe he'll give Reed another shot.

Why do you Morons start this shite everytime LSU plays an instate school now we will listen to the standard Morons on this board belittle the smaller in-state school saying how LSU is far more superior in athletics we get it but then the fun begins when some of the scholars that attend LSU begin the academic thing. Just remember outside of Louisiana LSU is not considered very much so be nice and keep it to sports

ULL doesn't have much to brag about this year. They may be the 5th best team in the state this year at BEST

They had just lost 2 of 3 last year in the conference opener and were 5-7-1 when they beat LSU. They will play well.....people will argue about the significance.....and in the end, it will not matter who wins.

Repeat in 2011.

I agree that iT is mostly a fan thing, the ulala fans get their panties in a knot & want to beat big brother. All the LSU fans get bent out of shape when ulala fans start spewing their banter. All in all, there is not much gained or won from these games for either side. If LSU wins, woopie another win in the win column that counts no more than that, ONE win. If ulala wins, sure it is great to brag about beating the defending national champion & big brother but really, if they don't win in their conference, all they achieve is another moral victory. Now the part about the coaches not giving a rats arse...not so sure that that is all so true when it comes to Robe. From what I've heard from a guy who's son is on the team, the LSU game is VERY important to Robe & to those associated (the pockets) with the program. Robe feels tremendous pressure to beat LSU, the LSU haters who support ulala WANT Robe to beat LSU in the worst way. I think the game is something of a pressure point for Robe. Either way, I hope the Tigers beat ulala 100-0, if they don't, oh well, I'm sure my vacation in June to Omaha will relieve some of the pain!!!!!

G E A U X T I G E R S!!!
