You think Vasquez will be able to create his shot in the NBA? I think I would put the better shooter ahead of versatile here. The one thing I see that faults Scheyer the most is he picks his dribble up when he is getting trapped or highly pressured. NBA guards would eat that shite up

he wouldn't be a score first guard. He has pretty good court vision. Would be more of a combo guard, pass first. Prob a bench player. He's creative off the dribble though

Plus he is 6'6". Think Marco Jaric. He isnt exactly Michael Jordan.

the .40% FG shooter??

38% from 3

Vazquez- 42% from FG, 37% from 3.

not much different besides the fact that scheyer jacks up and relies solely on the 3

I thought Scheyer's 3 for his career was much better than his.

On the year, Scheyer is 38.95%. He is 38.3% for his career. Vasquez is 36% this year and 32.9% for his career.

he was 37% going into tonight, but 0-5 tonight. 36% may be the updated number

regardless he is a better overall offensive player than Scheyer

Agreed. But he is kind of like a starving man's Tyreke Evans, in that he always needs the ball in his hands to create for himself and others. Scheyer has played multiple roles in the last 3 years at Duke and has done each relatively well.

I don't see either guy being much of anything in the NBA though because they don't excel at anything.

It all depends on the team that drafts them and if they fit the system.

Vasquez has fewer limits and more raw potential - Vasquez FTW.

Also doesnt Duke have the most players on active rosters right now

Not sure about that, but any time someone uses a line insinuating that Duke players in the NBA suck, I immediately discount anything they say regarding the NBA.
