That's not bad for a QB.

not shocking - supposedly flynn was faster when they were on the team together in 07

I tend to think it's RP's potential as a passing QB that was more remarkable before he began to throw it all away

Pretty slow for someone considered to be a dual threat QB...or did he stop being a dual threat after he left high school

Yeah, that seems pretty good actually. Nobody confuses him for Michael Vick.

No one considered him a dual threat except for Les and Gary.

Dang, he threw for 23 TDs with only 2 Ints, I don't care where you're playing that's getting it done right there. That 4.79 is probably faster than 90% of the QBs playing in the NFL right now.

Well he's black so that's a given.

RP is more shifty than fast.

MF was faster, but near the goal line, RP was often put in instead of MF.

RP had 8 rushing TD's and a couple of 100yd rushing games for JSU.

7/24/08: Ryan Perrilloux has all the athletic ability in the world. He also has a cannon for an arm. Unfortunately, he has a brick for a brain and a personality that rivals Pacman Jones'. Perrilloux was kicked off LSU for multiple off-the-field incidents. A quarterback simply can't do things like that. They're supposed to be studying game film and preparing for future opponents; not waving guns at people outside of bars.

I still for some reason like him.

Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux ran a 4.79 forty-yard dash at his Pro Day on Friday.
He also had a 9-foot-3 broad jump and a 30-inch vertical.

His vertical is horrible

actually, that 40 time may be better than advertised.

According to the source in that link, he put those numbers up in "rainy conditions"

And anyone else who paid attention. He's a great runner. Maybe not as good now as he was in high school if he's bulked up much, but still far better than most QBs with his kind of arm.

Btw, his 40 time is the same as McCoy's and a whole .2 seconds slower than Dexter McCluster. Plenty fast.

I'd draft him

Me too, especially if he falls to later rounds. When all is said and done, he'll either be a complete no-show in the league or one of the top few QBs to come out this year.

i really hope perrilloux is successful in the nfl. definitely one of his biggest fans. and yes he more of a pro style passing qb any ways.
