Rice played sloppy early on. Not a huge surprise for the first game of the season. I give Graham & Co. a lot of credit for going up to Palo Alto for the first series of the season (even though Stanford may be a little down this season).

FWIW, if anyone enjoys listening to random games, Kentucky has free audio for their games and they're playing West Virginia right now.

i remember USM and CSF having a home and home a couple years ago...usm went to CSF and the next they thought they were ready for CSF to come to hattiesburg. They weren't.

Costal is legit.

Lucky for them, they play in a warm climate so teams travel to them for play.

UK plays Wed. I am sure it will be about 35-40 with strong winds....always an adventure on the Party Deck in Feb and March.

Counting days till warm weather.

I also like the article on the front page of baseball america...says Oregon baseball "may be on the rise". Of course they are...they have one of, if not the best coach in the country in the dugout, all the money in the world and young players...even if they didn't beat fullerton yesterday it would be easy to know they are gonna much improved from last year.

hopefully they can refrain from beating, raping and stealing.

Tulane will have rough go of it this year. I wonder if Jones' seat will begin to heat up.

Fullerton had a home and home with Stanford for a number of years. Good challenge early on is a good thing.
