This takes the ability to think past your next bowel movement. Think any of the tards are capable of that?

SEC COACH ON THE HOT SEAT
...
Russ Mitchell - None
It’s not Les Miles; not if LSU cares about its future for the next decade. Park the passion and just think about it for a sec. If LSU pulls the trigger on a coach with (i) a few decent if not spectacular seasons with two inexperienced, sophomore QBs and a two new DCs, (ii) six straight top 15 recruiting classes, (iii) is the only Tiger coach to beat Florida, Alabama and Auburn in a single season, ever... and he’s done it twice, (iv) produced a good graduation rate, and (v) is just three years removed from winning it all, riddle me this: what top flight coach is going to step into that nightmare? What kind of bar are you setting? So you’re saying you can accomplish all Miles has to this point (including the 2007 NC), lose your DC, have decent seasons with those rookie QBs, and you get fired??? Good luck finding a truly A-list coach to take his place ...

Les is 1-? against our top rivals, Florida,Alabama,Arkansas, and Ole Piss the past 3 years....
given LSU's talent level..that is unacceptable..

given the fact that LSU's talent at the most important position has been mediocre at best, I believe it is acceptable.

keeping Crowton was Les Miles decision...
as the CEO of the LSU football program, he's responsible for the ineptness on offense

So Alleva was never part of it?????

Russ Mitchell obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. LSU would simply go get Saban back from Alabama.

It's Miles responsibility to gauge and sign players at all positions...including QB
what's truly scary is that there doesn't seem to be much of a viable option should JJ not drastically improve this year

Our record against those 4 the last 3 years is what?

Maybe he needs to do some research and see how Miles promoted to unproven DC's. That caused us to suck more than the offense.

It was actually an Alleva decision

He did not mention all of the stress with Katrina and Rita. This is spot on. Les just needs to win this year and all of these negative band wagoners will go away and we can have decent board again.

How many teams have a great backup QB? Russell/Flynn was as good as you could get.
Bama, Tenn, Carolina, AU, Michigan, and most big name programs in the nation have average backup QBs at best. Now, they could be good with additional playing time and coaching, but the current QB depth chart at LSU (JJ, Lee, Garrett, Shep, Z. Lee) has a lot of potential.

So Alleva was never part of it?????
why would Alleva force Miles to retain the OC from a unit that ranked 105th out of 110 teams?

LSU's rivals and their fans are hoping Miles will be here forever.
LSU will hopefully be in a good position to make or not make a move when the time comes.
Me thinks that will not be an issue.

this is true but at least he addressed the problem by hiring Chavis...
just don't see why he didn't ditch and replace Crowton after similar fiasco results....

Learn how to use the quote button.
You mean the Chavis defense that gave up only 30 yds less per game in 2009 than 2008. Bend but don't give your offense many chances defense.
Les doesn't care what happens. He got paid after 2007 and knew he could cut RP and still keep his job with a fat contract.
