I thought we should rehash on him before the highly anticipated releases of "Shutter Island" and "Inception". Leo is the shite. He doesn't make bad movies IMO. And he's fricking Bar Refaeli.

Think of Leo's movies:

Titanic (admit it, you liked it)
Gangs of New York (DDL carried this, but still good)
The Aviator (some hated this, I loved it)
Catch Me If You Can
Blood Diamond (I love this one)
The Departed
Body of Lies
The Beach (catches shite, but I like it)
The Basketball Diaries
and he even played a great ruhtard in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape

The two I hated that he is in are The Man in The Iron Mask and Revolutionary Road, but that is not due to him.

In a NO HOMO way, this dude is the shite :

and he is fricking her:

(and yes I know I posted this in another thread, but I posted it again, so gfy.)

Will more than likely be remembered as the greatest actor in his generation.

Alot of people will hate on him because he has it all.
I give the man much respect because he is one of the greatest in a long time. Blood Diamond put me over the top as far as his acting abilities went

I tend to agree. Leo does make great movies. He has come along ways since his Growing Pain days.

I will also amit that I saw Titanic for the 1st time last week. I thought it was a good movie.

Him and DDL. Depp could if he would pick more normal roles.

ETA: I think DDL is still the greatest actor alive. I just like Leo's movies better and if I were somebody besides myself it might be Leo.

I don't really consider him and DDL in the same generation, unless Leo is much older than I'm thinking.

Leo is awesome, and he is going to take a well deserved break from acting after Inception:

well he has a lot of in-development things for someone taking a year long hiatus. I guess he is putting everything on hold.

DDL is a badass. He gets a slight edge of Leo IMHO

The first half of The Beach. When he gets banished from the camp is when it goes downhill....

Total respect for the guy now. Seemed like he was a no talent douche in his teens and early 20's.

See, and I thought his early career was incredibly promising: This Boy's Life, Basketball Diaries, even The Beach (which is a very stylized role... underrated movie). But he has truly blossomed into a great actor. Anyone who becomes Scorcese's go to actor is pretty darn good.

That was the only early film I really liked. Although I haven't watched the Beach in years, I should probably watch it again.
