The good, the bad and the ugly

Where do they go from here? The Saints captured the country's attention on their way to winning their first championship. Yet, coach Sean Payton and general manager Mickey Loomis must make a series of prudent roster decisions to ensure New Orleans' standing as a title contender next season.

Maybe we should have rioted, turned over and beat cars with a bat and lit a few cop cars on fire like most other cities do when their team wins.

It's not their fault, the Saints really did win it their way. Every time I heard about the defense people said something like "You can't really rely on creating turnovers...but it's what they've done all year" I don't know if there's ever been a championship defense like the Saints. Usually the turnover creating defenses have been part of dominant, defensive team like Tampa and Baltimore during their SB runs who were both 1st in points allowed and turnover differential. By contrast the Saints were 3rd in turnover differential but 20th in points allowed.
