during Sunday's Super Bowl pre-game coverage that Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney was spotted earlier in the day walking without a limp.

Freeney has a torn ligament in his ankle. The injury was among the biggest stories of Media Day. He will not be 100 percent against New Orleans.

The CBS reporter, however, said that Freeney seemed to take pleasure in all the attention he got during the week.

Freeney is likely to be active for the game.

He was grinning when talking about his ankle and whether he would play earlier in the week.

It was all bullshite.

Walking in a hotel lobby and not limping is hardly an argument for being at full strength in a bull rush.
Im thrilled he's less than 100% with a gimpy wheel and we should have no problem handling him at the line of scrimmage.

Nah man, he was literally asked for like 4 hours a day every day since the Jets game the exact same fricking questions about that damn ankle. I shite you not atleast 90% of the questions I heard during NFL Network's coverage were reporters just hammering him about the shite over and over again. At one point some dumbass reporter begged for him to show it the day he had it hidden. He basically had 2 options, rape and torture all 84758574 reporters that weren't even paying attention to his answers or just laugh at the ridiculousness of what sports reporting has come to. In my opinion....

I think he is fine. It doesnt seem too far-fetched that they would try and pull what the Cowboys did with Ware on us...

Um, didn't Bill Belicheck get in a shitload of trouble for reporting false injuries? I'm not positive but I think the Colts will get fricked if Freeney doesn't really have a 3rd degree ligament tear or whatever the frick

But at the end of the day that ligament is still torn and a hyperbaric chamber is not going to help it heal by Sunday, but it may allow him to get more comfortable by Sunday and that might just get him on the field

How the hell can you play with torn ligaments in your foot? That has to be a BS injury report...

Thats what I'm saying, either he was just good at playing it off in front of everyone today, or Jim Caldwell has some explaining to do.
